Bluerock’s Total Income+ Real Estate Fund (“TI+”) today announced the availability of C and I share classes, in addition to class A shares. These new share classes are designed to cater to a wider variety of investors and expand Bluerock’s distribution channels.
“This initiative is part of Bluerock’s commitment to expanding and facilitating our retail distribution, including the RIA channel, which is one of the fastest growing sectors in retail,” said Ramin Kamfar, Bluerock CEO. “In addition to our partnership with Mercer, this expansion allows us to provide access to institutional real estate securities for a growing number of investors.”
The minimum initial investment by a shareholder for class A and class C shares is $2,500 for regular accounts and $1,000 for retirement plan accounts. The minimum initial investment for class I shares is $1,000,000.
TI+ provides investors access to a diversified portfolio of leading private equity real estate managers generally accessible only to institutional investors who are large enough to accommodate their multi-million dollar minimum investment criteria. As of the end of the first quarter, the value of the underlying real estate held by the securities in which the Fund is invested exceeded $47 billion, including portfolios managed by AEW, Principal, Clarion Partners, RREEF and JP Morgan, among others.
TI+ is sub-advised by Mercer Investment Management, Inc. (“Mercer”), the world’s leading advisor to endowments, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. Mercer, who has $7 trillion in assets under advisement and more than 3,300 clients worldwide, works closely with Bluerock Fund Advisors on investment selection and strategy.
